Eric is the founder and visionary leader of Waggoner, known for his forward-thinking approach to wealth management and dedication to creating a firm that thrives on innovation, collaboration, and client trust. He focuses on strategic planning, business development, and cultivating a company culture that empowers team members to grow and excel. 

With extensive experience in financial planning, investment strategy, and client service, Eric works closely with leadership to shape the firm’s long-term vision. He is a CFA®, CFP®, CLU®, ChFC®, and AEP® professional and also holds insurance licenses and FINRA Series 7, 26, and 63 registrations through LPL Financial. 

Beyond his work at Waggoner, Eric is a Finance professor at MSU’s Broad College of Business. Additionally, he enjoys spending time with his daughter and fostering a collaborative, empowering environment at Waggoner.

Aditya Chaturvedi is a Wealth Management Intern at Waggoner, where he supports the firm's wealth management and financial planning services through client meeting preparation and proactive client communication.

A rising senior at Michigan State University, Aditya is pursuing a degree in Finance with a minor in Financial Planning & Wealth Management. He plans to earn his CFP® designation following graduation.

Outside the office, Aditya stays active through soccer and fitness, and enjoys spending time with friends and family.

Akram is a Quant Intern at Waggoner, where he plays a key role in developing and maintaining technology solutions that power the firm's operations and client services. With a major in Computer Science and a minor in Mathematics from Michigan State University, Akram brings both technical expertise and analytical problem-solving skills to every project. He specializes in full-stack development, cloud solutions, and machine learning engineering, helping the firm leverage technology to deliver smarter, more efficient financial services. 

Prior to joining Waggoner, Akram worked as an AI researcher under an MIT Research Affiliate as a member of the HAAIL Lab (Human Augmentation and Artificial Intelligence Lab), where he investigated neural network compression and its real-world applications. That experience deepened his passion for quantitative research, which he sees as the natural intersection of his two greatest interests — computer science and mathematics. He is drawn to the challenge of leveraging both disciplines to identify arbitrage opportunities and solve complex problems. 

Outside of work, Akram enjoys art, programming, game development, and writing. A fun fact about Akram is that he has a passion for animals, feeding seven cats every day. His guiding philosophy is "Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today" — a quote from Malcolm X that reflects his commitment to growth, learning, and making a meaningful impact through both technology and collaboration.

Allisandra joins the team as a Tax Associate. With a strong foundation in quantitative analysis, she specializes in data organization, financial reporting, and applying statistical methods to tax compliance. She brings a precision-driven approach to complex data sets, helping the team maintain accuracy and clarity across tax documentation.

She is currently pursuing a degree in Statistics at Michigan State University. As a first-generation college student, Allisandra brings a unique perspective and an exceptional work ethic — balancing rigorous technical coursework with real-world experience in the tax field. Her mathematical background gives her a distinctive edge in translating numbers into meaningful, actionable results.

Outside of work, she enjoys reading, working out, traveling, and baking.

Her creative and collaborative approach ensures that every initiative delivers both impact and value.  

Outside of work, Ananditha enjoys traveling, having lived in three different continents. She also loves photography, swimming, and is always finding inspiration in exploring new cultures. Her creative approach is enhanced by a global perspective, shaped by her experience living in three different countries, which gives her a unique understanding of diverse audiences and a fresh outlook on every project. 

Balancing her work at Waggoner with her studies, Anh is pursuing a dual-enrollment program at Michigan State University, earning both a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and a Master’s in Marketing Research and Analytics. She thrives on applying what she learns in the classroom to real-world marketing challenges, while letting her hands-on experience inform her academic growth. Her outgoing personality helps her collaborate effortlessly with colleagues, sparking ideas and energizing the team. 

Outside of work and school, Anh enjoys traveling, photography, arts and crafts, cooking, and baking, often drawing inspiration from her adventures and experiences. She lives by the quote, “It's just a bad day, not a bad life,” believing that persistence, self-belief, and a positive mindset make challenges manageable and lead to meaningful success.

Ankit serves as the Vice President of Waggoner, where he manages the day-to-day operations of the firm while playing a key role in shaping its long-term direction and growth strategy. He sets the tone for internal standards, supports hiring and professional development across the team, and ensures the firm operates with consistency and purpose at every level.

On the client side, Ankit guides clients through complex financial decisions and long-term goals through thoughtful, personalized guidance. He specializes in investments, portfolio management, trading, and complex financial planning — aligning every recommendation with client goals.

Additionally, Ankit regularly represents the firm at on-campus events and speaking engagements to connect with the next generation of finance professionals. He is a CFP® professional and holds an MBA from the University of the Cumberlands and a BA in Finance from Michigan State University.

Having lived in five countries, Ankit brings a global perspective to his work, enhancing his ability to evaluate international markets and provide insights that benefit clients with diverse financial goals and backgrounds.

Outside of work, he enjoys staying active through gym workouts and is an avid reader, always looking to bring fresh ideas to both his clients and the team.

Ben is an Investment Research Staff member at Waggoner, where he focuses on supporting the firm’s research and analysis  firm's investment strategies. Known for his innovative thinking and curiosity about markets and the companies that drive them, Ben combines financial insight with a strategic view on a company's products and positioning in the market, helping the team identify opportunities and make informed decisions. He earned his degree in Finance from Michigan State University, giving him a strong foundation in both technical analysis and strategic thinking.

Since returning to Waggoner, Ben has brought with him a well-rounded professional background — having been a part of Waggoner's inaugural intern class before going on to hone his analytical skills in business valuation at KPMG. He approaches each project by challenging assumptions and digging deeper, paired with a strong desire to continuously grow as an investor and analyst. Outside of work, Ben enjoys golf, skiing, traveling, basketball, and exploring new cuisines — bringing the same curiosity and enthusiasm to life outside the office as he does to his work.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics with a minor in Business Administration from Elmhurst University and a Master of Science in Financial Planning and Wealth Management from Michigan State University.  

Brian is known for his curiosity and commitment to delivering high-quality work. He approaches every task with enthusiasm, whether helping clients plan for their future or supporting internal projects that enhance the firm’s efficiency. His thoughtful approach ensures that clients and colleagues alike can rely on his insights and contributions. 

Outside of work, Brian enjoys skiing, golf, waterskiing, working out, and spending time with friends and family. A fun fact about Brian is that he has never tried ketchup. His personal motto, “You get out what you put in,” embodies his dedication to both his professional responsibilities and his personal growth, emphasizing hard work, focus, and a positive attitude.

She holds a bachelor's degree in marketing and management from Minot State University, and has a background in sales. She takes pride in building lasting relationships with clients and providing personalized service.

Outside of work, Camryn is an artist who specializes in stained glass. She loves to volunteer and teach classes in her free time. She also enjoys spending time with her dog – a 100 pound plus Newfoundland named Rhea.

A graduate of Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Chad combines technical skill with creative problem-solving to design solutions that are both efficient and user-friendly. 

Chad brings curiosity and collaboration to every project, solving complex challenges and improving processes across the firm while working closely with teams across Marketing, Investments, and more. 

Outside of work, Chad pursues a variety of interests, including drawing, rock climbing, backpacking, and running, even completing a 50-mile ultramarathon. During his gap year, he spent a summer working on a permaculture farm on the North Shore of O‘ahu, Hawai‘i. Chad lives by the belief that perspective shapes reality, and that believing in the value of what you create is the first step to making it exceptional.

Claudia Duimstra joins Waggoner as a Wealth Management Intern, contributing to the firm's financial planning and client service operations through comprehensive case preparation and advisor support.

Claudia is a junior at the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business, where she is pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. Her coursework and professional experience have sharpened her analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, all of which she brings to her work at Waggoner.

Outside the office, Claudia enjoys being outdoors, staying active, and exploring new coffee shops.

With a B.A. in Marketing from Michigan State University, Claudia combines analytical insight with a passion for storytelling to deliver campaigns, educational materials, and digital content that creates an impact. She manages a wide range of initiatives including event planning, website development, social media, graphic design, and newsletter publication. 

She works collaboratively with teams across departments to align Waggoner’s messaging and branding, prioritizing high-quality designs and deliverables. Claudia’s creativity and insight have strengthened client engagement and enhanced the firm’s brand visibility. 

Outside of work, Claudia enjoys vintage shopping, cooking, and binge-watching her favorite shows. A fun fact about Claudia, she grew up with more than seven dogs!

A rising senior at Michigan State University, Cody is pursuing a degree in Finance with dual minors in Financial Planning & Wealth Management and Spanish. He plans to pursue his CFP® certification following graduation. He approaches his work with integrity and a commitment to the clients and colleagues he serves.

Outside the office, Cody enjoys fitness, yoga, film, and wildlife photography. He lives by the belief: "The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page."

An incoming senior at Michigan State University, Connor is majoring in Finance with a minor in Wealth Management & Financial Planning. Driven by a long-term goal of earning his CFP® certification, he is committed to developing the knowledge and skills needed to help individuals and families build lasting financial security. His motivation in finance is grounded in a clear purpose: to use financial planning as a tool for positive impact.

Outside academics, Connor can be found grilling, fishing, or enjoying time outdoors.

A former Spartan football player, David brings the same drive and discipline to the financial industry that defined his time on the field.

At Waggoner, he supports advisors through research and portfolio preparation while actively developing his expertise in wealth management.

He plans to pursue his CFP® designation after graduation. He is especially interested in developing the knowledge and skills needed to guide clients toward long-term financial success.

Outside the office, Jacob stays active through weightlifting, hiking, and sports. He enjoys traveling, with Ireland standing as a favorite destination. He lives by the belief: "Success is not the absence of failure, it's persistence through failure."

Jordan Bowman is the Director of Advisory Services at Waggoner, where he oversees the firm's overall advisory process and leads the service and planning team.

With a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University, Jordan brings a problem-solving mindset to his work, turning complex challenges into clear, actionable solutions.

Jordan brings a client-first mindset to everything he does. He plays an integral role in supporting clients through major life transitions — including business sales, inheritance, and retirement — ensuring they feel informed, organized, and well-supported at every step. Jordan works closely alongside the advisory team to help coordinate and facilitate wealth management services for small to medium-sized businesses, retirement planning, and 401(k) solutions, making sure each client experience is seamless.

Known for his mentorship and community involvement, Jordan is an active member of HBA Lansing and ABC of Michigan, volunteering for initiatives such as Toys for Tots and mentoring incoming paraplanners and wealth management associates.

Outside of work, he enjoys hockey, golf, hunting, and travel. His great-grandfather played for the Detroit Red Wings, appeared on the Stanley Cup twice, and scored the first penalty shot in NHL history. His personal philosophy, "Everything in life is negotiable," reflects the adaptability he brings to every client relationship.

Josh is the Director of Tax & Accounting at Waggoner, where he ensures the firm operates efficiently while delivering accurate, strategic financial guidance to clients. A CPA® professional with both undergraduate and master's degrees in Accounting from Michigan State University, Josh brings deep technical expertise across business accounting, tax planning, and investment tax reporting. 

In addition to his client-facing work, Josh plays a central role in day-to-day operations at Waggoner. He oversees accounting and bookkeeping processes, collaborates closely with human resources, and ensures that firm operations run smoothly and effectively. His commitment to structure, accuracy, and thoughtful management helps create a supportive environment for the team where people feel valued and empowered to succeed. 

Outside of Waggoner, Josh is an Assistant Instructor of Accounting at Michigan State University. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, working out, reading, and spending time with his wife, their hedgehog, Remy, and dog, Mac. Josh’s guiding principle is, “You don’t rise to the level of your goals; you fall to the level of your habits,” reflecting his commitment to discipline and continuous learning.

Kiley’s career began in education, where she taught geometry and college-level mathematics and developed a talent for making complex ideas clear and approachable. She brings that same clarity and care to her work in financial planning, where she is committed to delivering thoughtful guidance and meaningful impact to our clients. 

Kiley is a CFP® professional and holds the ChFC® designation. She is also an Enrolled Agent (EA) for taxes. She carries insurance licenses for life, accident, health, and variable annuities, along with FINRA Series 7 and 63 registrations through LPL Financial. She graduated from Saginaw Valley State University with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. 

With more than 11 years of experience, Kiley specializes in executive compensation, tax strategy, and all core areas of financial planning. In addition to her client-facing work, she plays a key role in managing firm operations at Waggoner. Kiley oversees major departments such as Tax & Accounting, Human Resources, Sales, Marketing, and Software, ensuring seamless operations and providing essential support to the team. She also fosters collaboration across departments, helping teams work together efficiently to deliver high-quality results for clients. 

Together with Eric, Kiley has helped build a team and a growing business rooted in trust, education, and high-quality service. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, traveling, running half marathons, and spending time with her husband, their two children, and their dog, Ted.

Currently studying at Michigan State University with a major in Finance and Economics and a minor in Financial Planning & Wealth Management, Mason brings analytical rigor and practical problem-solving to every client case. His academic training informs the detail and discipline he applies to meeting preparation and advisor support.

Outside the office, Mason enjoys tennis, reading, watching football, and spending time with friends and family.

Mason Smith is a Paraplanner at Waggoner, where he brings precision and genuine intellectual curiosity to the firm's planning process. He supports advisors by preparing in-depth financial analyses, building detailed client reports, and contributing to strategy development that strengthens the quality of our work on behalf of clients.

With a strong interest in financial modeling, Mason approaches each project with a drive to understand the reasoning behind the numbers, ensuring the insights delivered to clients are both thoughtful and well-supported.

Outside the office, Mason channels the same discipline into boxing, taekwondo, and skiing. He values experiences that challenge him and shapes the way he shows up for colleagues and clients alike.

Mya is known for her organization, attention to detail, and warm, approachable character, making her a reliable and valued member of the Waggoner team. 

Mya’s role allows her to engage directly with clients, assisting with day-to-day operations, and creating a welcoming environment in the office. She enjoys connecting with people, helping the team stay coordinated, and contributing to projects that make a difference for clients and colleagues alike. 

Outside of work, Mya enjoys reading, thrifting, spending time with friends, watching reality TV, and exploring new experiences. She is also a musician, having played the cello for six years. Mya’s guiding philosophy is “When you learn, teach; when you get, give,” a quote from Maya Angelou that mirrors her commitment to sharing knowledge, supporting others, and making a positive impact.

Shanzer is the Director of Investments & Technology at Waggoner, where he oversees the firm's investment operations and technology development. His responsibilities include portfolio strategy management, market research, and leading the investment committee to ensure every decision is executed with precision. On the technology side, he drives the development of fintech tools that support smarter decision-making and long-term scalability for the firm.

He brings a disciplined, analytical approach to both markets and systems, translating data, macro insights, and workflow innovation into efficient, actionable outcomes for clients and the firm.

He holds the CFA® designation and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, with a minor in Insurance and Risk Management, from Michigan State University. He also maintains FINRA Series 7 registration through LPL Financial and Series 66 registration with Private Advisor Group.

Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, traveling, fitness, and gaming, and spending time with his wife, Maheen, and their son, Zaydan.

With a major in Finance and a minor in Financial Planning and Wealth Management from Michigan State University, Tobin combines analytical expertise with practical problem-solving to help clients make informed decisions. He holds licenses in SIE, FINRA Series 7, NASAA Series 66 through LPL Financial, and Life, Accident, and Health Insurance, allowing him to provide comprehensive guidance across multiple areas. 

With a focus on young professionals, Tobin works collaboratively with his clients to ensure that strategies are tailored to each client's unique circumstances and needs. 

Outside of work, Tobin enjoys spending time outdoors, playing sports, and staying active with friends, family, and his fiancé. A true Spartan, he has a false tooth from an injury he sustained at an Izzone Campout. He lives by the belief, “You become who you surround yourself with.”

Vadim is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at Michigan State University, where he continues to deepen his interest in building scalable, thoughtful software systems. Outside of work, he enjoys programming, playing piano, composing music, gardening, watching indie films (and diving into video essays about them), and staying active at the gym.

He is passionate about web development and building products that make a meaningful impact. 

Wyat is known for his creativity, dedication, and ability to tackle complex challenges with practical solutions. He works closely with his team to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.  

Outside of work, Wyat enjoys airsoft, single-track dirt biking, fencing, and building inventive projects. For the past year and a half, he has been working on a dark fantasy worldbuilding project called Solhara, reflecting his imaginative and disciplined mindset. His guiding philosophy is “Luck is like a bus. If you miss one, there will always be another, you just need to be prepared to hop on,” a quote by Qi Lu from The Third Door.
